Pillars

pillar /pĭl′ər/ – a core truth, value, or principle that supports and upholds the entire structure of what someone believes. In other words, pillars are the key supports that everything else stands on — the non-negotiable beliefs that shape how a ministry, church, or individual lives out their faith.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 TPT

Knowing that we are a spirit. That we have a soul. And, we live in a body.

That when Jesus said things like, “…he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified” (Heb. 10:12) it’s easier to understand that YES, we are perfected in our spirit. We know better than anyone else that our minds and bodies aren’t perfect. But, our spirit? That part of us was changed into a new creation the moment we were born again.

When this is understood, how we relate to the Father changes. We suddenly aren’t ashamed of the fact that we keep “messing up”. And, the more you SEE yourself perfected, the more you will actually live that out unintentionally. You will live holier accidentally. How you see, you will be.
